CoolSculpting

CoolSculpting is a patented, non-surgical fat-reduction technique that targets and reduces fat in specific areas of the body. Based on the science of cryolipolysis, it uses controlled cooling to freeze and destroy fat cells. Common treatment areas include the inner and outer thighs, abdomen, sides, upper arms, and chin.

This noninvasive procedure requires no anesthesia, needles, or incisions. The cooling process destroys subcutaneous fat — the layer of fat just beneath the skin — which is then naturally absorbed by the body over time.

How It Works

CoolSculpting uses the body’s cellular response to cold to gradually break down fat cells while leaving surrounding nerves, muscles, and tissues unharmed. Over the months following treatment, the destroyed fat cells are filtered out through the lymphatic system.

During the procedure, you may feel pulling or pinching sensations. Providers often massage the treated areas immediately afterward to help break up frozen tissue, aiding in the absorption of the destroyed fat cells.

Non-Surgical Fat Reduction

CoolSculpting permanently reduces fat cells in targeted areas by up to 25%. Over the next 5–8 weeks, the destroyed cells are naturally metabolized and eliminated by the body.

While the treated fat cells are gone permanently, remaining fat cells can still grow if weight is gained. Maintaining your weight ensures the results remain visible and effective.
